Kids will soon be getting ready for kindergarten with Tolko’s help

Tolko’s Manager of Energy and Environment Michael Towers recently presented a $1,000 donation to Rebecca Kerr, Autism Services Program Supervisor at the North Okanagan Neurological Association (NONA), in support of their efforts in providing services to children, families, and caregivers who take care of children facing developmental challenges.

Michael was recognized earlier this year with Tolko’s Vernon Office Service Award, which included a prize of $1,000 that he could then donate to a charity of his choice.

“Thank you to Michael for thinking of NONA, and for helping kids be the best they can be,” says Helen Armstrong, the Executive Director of NONA. “The money will go towards supporting our Sunshine Learning group, which helps our little ones get ready for kindergarten. We’re grateful for the support.”
