Wall Framing
Our Zinc Borate treated products are manufactured at Tolko's Athabasca mill and are approved for use as defined in AWPA U1, Use Category UC2.
The treatment is mixed in with the strands, adhesives and wax to provide consistent protection throughout the entire board. There is no need to treat the boards before installation or to reapply treatment after it’s been trimmed to size. ZB does not affect the strength properties of the product after treatment.
