Our SPF is a combination of three Western Canadian softwood species:
Spruce, Pine, and Fir.
This unique species-mix offers high-grade lumber with small, tight knots resulting in extremely high fibre strength able to withstand the toughest inclement weather. Even with its superior strength, SPF lumber remains lightweight and very easy to work with.
Building with SPF
This high-strength/lightweight combination makes SPF lumber an ideal choice for general framing applications, light trusses, and home projects. SPF lumber is appealing, ranging in colour from white to pale yellow, and ideal for interior-use and remanufacturing.
