Tolko gives kids a fun place of their own

Tolko’s High Level Division is committed to supporting local youth. After investing in two youth groups last year, the division recently presented a $14,000 cheque to Mayor Crystal McAteer to officially adopt High Level’s Skateboard Park Improvement Project.

The park “encourages a positive place for kids to meet,” says Laureen Wouters from Tolko’s High Level Division. “It promotes activity, good health, and is the perfect place to build relationships.”

On May 28, town councilors held a meeting to discuss the new project and voted to match Tolko’s donation, bringing the total project funding to $28,000.

Soon the kids of High Level, Alberta will have a place to call their own.
