Tolko announces new CCDI partnership

Tolko Industries now an employer partner with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion

Vernon, B.C. — Tolko is proud to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) to solidify its ongoing commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace across its divisions in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. The CCDI’s mission is to help organizations be more inclusive, free of prejudice and discrimination, and generate awareness and dialogue to enact practical and sustainable solutions.

“We’re excited about this partnership. The important work that the CCDI is doing reflects Tolko’s commitment to being an employer of choice, supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, and furthering these efforts within the forestry industry,” said Tanya Wick, VP People and Services with Tolko Industries.

This Employer Partnership will provide Tolko with learning opportunities, interactive webinars, and access to a vast Knowledge Repository containing a wide variety of resources to promote diversity and inclusion across the organization.

“We feel that the CCDI’s mission strongly aligns with Tolko’s value of Respect and the various initiatives that Tolko’s Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee (DISC) has underway,” said Michelle Mercer, HR Advisor, Diversity and Inclusion at Tolko Industries.
