We moved into the prairies in 1994 with the construction of our first oriented strand board (OSB) mill in High Prairie, Alberta. Since that first mill, the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan have welcomed us as we have established two more OSB mills - one in Slave Lake, AB and one in Meadow Lake, SK.
In November 1999, Tolko purchased the sawmill in High Level, Alberta. Since that time, we have grown the operation with continued investment in people and equipment.
With decades of relationships established with people and organizations across Alberta and Saskatchewan, the prairies have become an integral part of the success of our company. Without these relationships, we wouldn't be the company we are today.
We're proud of our operations in the prairie provinces, and we look forward to many more years working to create stronger, more sustainable communities with the people we've come to know and love.
