December 29, 2009—Tolko Industries Ltd. announces downtime at Meadow Lake OSB following a fire which occurred late December 25, 2009.
The fire started at approximately 11 pm and resulted in damage to a core blender. Onsite crews were supported by community emergency crews to control damage.
Production is suspended while cause and damages are assessed. Repairs will be completed as soon as possible. Customers and affected employees will be regularly updated throughout this process.
