Howdy Pardner! Tolko Industries is proud to sponsor the 2018 Big Brothers Big Sisters ‘Bowl for Kids’ Sake’
fundraiser being held
April 6 & 7
in Williams Lake, BC.
This year’s theme is the Wild, Wild West and will feature up to 70 teams of 4 to 6 people dressing up in western garb, having fun bowling and challenging each other to raise as much as they can in pledges for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The event will raise funds to support mentoring programs for children and youth in the Williams Lake area. The goal of mentoring is to make connections with children and youth, forming a positive relationship based on empowerment.
These qualities lay the foundation for young people as they work to succeed and develop life skills. Supporting ‘Bowl for Kids’ Sake’ helps Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake and 100 Mile House to support local children and youth reach their full potential.
About 50 teams have been confirmed so far for the event in Williams Lake, and there’s room for another 20, so locals of all ages are encouraged to get a team together and register by contacting Big Brothers Big Sisters at 250-398-8391.
So, grab your cowboy boots and Stetson hat and sign up today to spur on your friends and colleagues to raise funds for the little cowboys and cowgirls! Yee-hah!
