A Message to customers from Pino Pucci, Tolko’s VP Sales, Marketing & Logistics.
I want to thank our customers and supply-chain partners for your continued support as we all, together, manage our way through these unprecedented impacts brought upon us by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Although the global impacts are still far from over, we are working toward taking our next steps in continuing to safely provide our customers with the essential products and services you have come to rely on from Tolko.
Tolko employees, including mills, support teams, and office staff, have been operating throughout the pandemic with protocols in place to ensure everyone’s safety — they’ve done a fantastic job. We are now ready to begin taking the next steps and start shifting our customer support and service back to our Vernon office and welcome back more members of our sales and logistics teams as we all adapt to this “new normal.”
Tolko’s Leadership Team and our Pandemic Response Team are managing our return to office process with consistency and dedication in accordance with health authorities’ guidelines. This strategy has been essential during the pandemic as we focused on our Top Priority — the health and safety of our employees, customers, supply-chain partners, and other stakeholders while continuing to provide our customers with essential products and services.
We are monitoring the pandemic and its impact on businesses world-wide, and we are working with all stakeholders to continue to operate safely. We’re still limiting access to our sites, including screening all suppliers and trucks entering our facilities as well as minimizing physical contact in our shipping departments. Additional cleaning and physical distancing guidelines remain in place, and we’re following the latest recommendations from health authorities.
We want to reassure our customers that we will continue to take action to ensure that our businesses can keep on safely manufacturing quality products for as long as it is safe to do so. Our sales, logistics, and service employees are available, and our comprehensive in-market reload network is still in place to support customer commitments. Tolko is open for business and we will continue to create stability for our employees, contractors, customers, vendors, and communities.
We appreciate your support and look forward to maintaining our current work with you through these challenging times.
Pino Pucci
