Looking back at the work we did in 2021 to help build better communities, together
Tolko was able to support some amazing community partners in 2021, and we’ve prepared a little video to help recognize them for the work they do as well as celebrate our employees who were able to lend a helping hand. We’d like to thank all of our amazing community partners and we’re so happy to support your efforts. We’re excited to continue our collaboration in 2022. A couple of key highlights from last year include:
- We made a large holiday donation to Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada with the bulk of the funds going to support the provinces where we operate.
- The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) received funding for the construction of a student residence and their new Trades and Technology building — both to be constructed using mass timber materials.
- Tolko divisions donated to a wide variety of organizations, including care centres, city parks and services, school programs, Aboriginal child development centres and youth camps, youth clubs and support organizations, food banks, literacy societies, and youth sports.
