Tolko partners with Okanagan Indian Band to promote job opportunities

Tolko has provided the Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) with funding to support the placement of televisions in their community centres. These TVs will be used to feature employment opportunities at Tolko and other companies.

This is an investment in tried-and-true technology that has the potential to have a positive impact on the economy of the Okanagan Indian Band community. It’s also an important first step in Tolko’s efforts to renew and strengthen the relationship between our organization and the OKIB.

At Tolko, we value open communication. It is the basis for all our interactions with Indigenous people within our operating areas. We value our relationship with the Okanagan Indian Band and want to find meaningful ways to engage with the community.
