Last month, our Athabasca Division donated bundles of oriented-strand board (OSB) to Habitat for Humanity to help construct a family home in the community.
Athabasca Division Plant Manager Brad Farquhar says, “We want to support our communities wherever we can. I’m pleased to hear that crews have broken ground and that construction is already underway.”
Karen Stone, President & CEO of Habitat for Humanity Edmonton says that they hope the family will be living in their new home by next spring.
“We are very grateful for Tolko’s continued support in the community of Slave Lake,” said Karen. “It is because of generous community leaders like Tolko that Habitat can help families achieve strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership.”
