What a year for Meadow Lake! Safety stars, community investment champs and now they can another title to their growing list of accomplishments. Last night at the 14th annual Meadow Lake Business Excellence (MLBEX) Awards our own Meadow Lake OSB division was named 2018 Business of the Year!
The event, which took place at the Meadow Lake Civic Centre, featured awards in six categories, which included the Aboriginal Business Award, Community Builder’s Wall of Fame, Customer Service Award, Small Business Award, Volunteer Award, and Business of the Year Award.
Trevor Brander, Tolko’s Meadow Lake OSB division plant manager attended the event and was presented with a beautiful painting to mark the occasion. Trevor says, “As one of the largest employers in the City of Meadow Lake, putting our best foot forward and giving back to the community is vital. It’s truly an honour for all of us here at Tolko Meadow Lake OSB to be recognized with this award. Well done team!”
